Played 16 October 2026 at the minimum $0.20 bet (bet 1, coin value $0.01, 20x multiplier), the same bet for the buys. Base game: about 59 spins, no natural free spins, no orbs. Each bonus is a Free Spins 1 buy at 100x ($20) for 15 free spins. Three bonuses and 59 spins is a short sample, not a long-term test.

How the session went
The base game was a slow drip. Small tumbles landed regularly, usually 8 or 9 low symbols for a few cents. Across about 59 spins the free spins never triggered on their own, and not a single multiplier orb landed. The biggest win was a $0.79 tumble chain, which is 3.95x the bet.
That's normal for a game like this. With a 25,000x cap and orbs up to 2,500x, the maths has to take the money from somewhere, and it takes it from the base game. Fifty-nine spins is far too few to judge the trigger rate, but it gives you the feel: don't expect the base game to entertain you on its own.
Bonus 1 was flat. It ended at $6.37, under a third of the cost. Bonus 2 was closer to break-even. Small orbs, like the 3x in the screenshot, landed on winning tumbles and pushed the running total to 9x by the fifth spin. Bonus 3 was the one that paid. It brought a 20x orb, the biggest of the session, and the total multiplier peaked at 33x. Once the pillar is that high, even small tumbles turn into proper wins, which is exactly how the feature is meant to work.
Overall, three buys turned $60 into $70.74. Don't read that as "the buy pays". It's three rounds, and one of them did all the work. The real lesson is the spread: 32x to 229x from the same buy. Each round took a minute or two, mostly because the tumble and celebration animations are slow.
How the features work
These come from the game's own info screens.
Tumble. Winning symbols disappear and new ones drop in, and this repeats until no new win forms.
Multiplier orbs. Orbs worth 2x up to 2,500x can land in the base game and in free spins. At the end of a tumble sequence their values are added together and applied to the win.
Free spins. Four or more scatters award 15 free spins, and a wheel picks the type. Free Spins 1: multipliers from winning spins are added to a running total multiplier. Free Spins 2: every multiplier that lands is added to the total, win or not. Super Free Spins 1 and 2: the same rules, but every multiplier is at least 10x.
Retrigger. Three or more scatters during the bonus add 5 more spins. The Total Multiplier pillar beside the reels makes all of this easy to follow.
Special bets and the buy menu
This is where 2500 differs most from a plain slot. There are five special bets and four buys.
Ante bets (the bet goes up, and so does the free-spins chance): Ante 1 at 25x bet for 2x the free-spins chance, Ante 2 at 55x for 8x the chance, Ante 3 at 110x for 8x the chance plus better bonus types.
Super Spins (no free spins can trigger in these modes): Super Spin 1 at 400x guarantees a multiplier on every spin; Super Spin 2 at 5,000x guarantees a multiplier of at least 25x.
Bonus buys: Free Spins 1 at 100x, Free Spins 2 at 250x, Super Free Spins 1 at 500x (multipliers at least 10x) and Super Free Spins 2 at 1,250x.
At $0.20 the cheapest buy is $20 and the top Super Spin is $1,000 a spin, so the costs scale fast. Feature hunters will enjoy the choice, but a newcomer might feel lost.
Compared with the original Gates of Olympus
It looks very close to the original: same Zeus, same 6×5 tumble, same orb idea. The bonus switches to a blue night palette. The big changes are the orb ceiling of 2,500x, the 25,000x max win, and the much bigger menu of antes, Super Spins and four buy levels. If you liked the original's rhythm, you'll know this one straight away. Just expect it to be swingier. I didn't assess the sound.
