Played 17 October 2026 (02:53–03:15 CEST) on Pragmatic Play's official free demo in USD at $0.20. 100 spins in 10 autoplay blocks of 10 ($20 staked) returned $34.98, finishing $14.98 up. Free spins triggered naturally on spin 2 or 3. The round's total screen was skipped, so we don't have its exact total: it showed $19.24 with 2 spins left, and the first ten spins returned $19.96 in total wins, so the round paid between $19.24 and $19.96 (worked out). Best base win $3.14 (a tumble around spin 55, screenshotted). Midway through block 6 the reels froze. A reload kept the session, the bet was reset to $0.20, and one manual spin completed the block. There is no bonus buy in this demo, in the menu or the rules, so the session has no buy rows. No buys were made and none are shown. This is a short sample, not a long-term test.

How the session went
The splash screen says it straight: win up to 25,000x the bet, random multipliers up to 1,000x, and low volatility. I set the bet from the $2.00 default to $0.20 and ran 100 spins in ten autoplay blocks of 10.
The bonus came almost at once. On the second or third spin, three scatters landed and triggered 15 free spins. A 4x multiplier helped one tumble to $3.53, a retrigger added five spins with $15.48 banked, and with two spins left the round stood at $19.24 with a 12x running multiplier. Autoplay skipped the total screen, so I don't have the final figure. The first ten spins returned $19.96 in total, so the free spins paid between $19.24 and $19.96. That's an upper bound worked out from the session figures, not a number the game showed me.
The rest of the session was the low-volatility drip you'd expect: small gem tumbles of $0.76 and $0.88, and around spin 55 a tumble that paid $3.14, 15.7x the bet and the best base win of the session. Shortly after, the reels froze. A reload kept the session intact but reset the bet to $2.00, so I set it back to $0.20 and finished that block with one manual spin.
The last stretch gave a little back. On the very last spin a $0.52 tumble met a 3x multiplier and paid $1.56. Overall, the $20 staked returned $34.98, finishing $14.98 up.
Take the free spins out and the picture is plainer. The 100 spins returned $34.98 in total wins. Without the bonus, that's roughly $15 to $15.74 on $20, about three-quarters of the stake. That's normal for a low-volatility game that saves its value for the bonus and the multipliers, and it means the result rested on one early round.
There was nothing to buy. The demo has no Buy Feature button, and the rules have no buy or ante section, so this review has no buy results. The session table shows only the base game for that reason. Pragmatic's game page doesn't mention a buy either, and the game is built around landing the bonus naturally.
How the features work
These points come from Pragmatic Play's game page, the in-game rules and what we saw.
**Grid and pays.** A 3×5 grid that pays anywhere. Five or more of a symbol anywhere on screen win, in steps of 5–6, 7–8 and 9+. Tumbles remove winning symbols and drop new ones in.
**Multipliers.** Multiplier symbols worth up to 1,000x can land in the base game and the bonus. They stay on screen through a tumbling sequence, then add together and multiply the total win.
**Free spins.** Three or more scatters or POP symbols award 15 free spins. Two or more scatters during the round add 5 more. In the bonus, multipliers on winning spins add to a running total, which we saw reach 12x.
**POP jackpots.** When three scatters or POP symbols trigger the bonus, each POP among them upgrades the prize. One POP pays the 50x Snap jackpot, two pay the 500x Spark, and three pay the 25,000x Burst. At $0.20 that's $10, $100 and $5,000.
**Max win.** 25,000x the bet.
The paytable at $0.20
The crown is the top symbol: 9 or more pay $10.00 (50x the bet), 7–8 pay $5.00 and 5–6 pay $2.00. The hourglass pays $4.00, $1.60 and $0.40, and the ring $2.00, $0.40 and $0.20. The gems pay much less. The red gem pays $1.20 for 9 or more, the purple $0.80 and the yellow $0.40, with 5–6 of a gem paying between $0.04 and $0.12.
On a 15-position grid, 9 or more of one symbol is rare, so most wins are gem clusters worth a few cents. The multipliers turn those into something. Our last spin showed it well: a $0.52 tumble became $1.56 with a 3x.
RTP, bets and buy options
The demo's rules showed a 97.05% RTP, while Pragmatic Play's game page lists 96.54%, so the version varies. Check the info screen at your casino. The rules give a bet range of $0.10 to $250, and the volatility is low.
There's no bonus buy and no ante bet in the demo, and Pragmatic's page doesn't mention either, so we couldn't test one and haven't invented one. If you want the bonus, you have to spin for it. In our session it came within three spins. Over a longer run you should expect much longer waits.
Compared with other Gates of Olympus slots
Next to the original Gates of Olympus and its bigger sequels, POP is the gentle one. It has a smaller grid, low volatility instead of high, and no buy, but it keeps the 1,000x multipliers and adds the jackpot ladder. If you like the Zeus games but want a steadier session, this is the version to try. I didn't assess the sound.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Low volatility that played as advertised: small, steady tumbles
- Free spins landed naturally on spin 2 or 3 and paid at least $19.24 (96x)
- Multipliers of up to 1,000x in both the base game and free spins
- Three POP jackpots up to 25,000x, and a $0.10 minimum bet
- No bonus buy, so nothing pushes you to spend more
Cons
- No bonus buy, so free spins have to come naturally
- Without the bonus, the base game returned roughly 75% of what went in
- Small 3×5 grid, so big tumbling chains are rare
- The 25,000x Burst needs a three-POP combination, a long shot
- RTP varies: the demo's rules showed 97.05%, and Pragmatic's page lists 96.54%
