Played 17 October 2026 on Pragmatic Play's official free demo in USD, Kingdom of Ra mode, at $0.20 (bet level 1 × coin $0.02 × 10), the same bet for the buys. Base game: 100 spins in 10 autoplay blocks of 10 ($20 staked). Two natural Free Spins rounds landed in the base game, $22.78 (around spin 55) and $2.80 (around spin 85), and the 100 spins finished $12.30 up including them. The biggest single base win wasn't isolated, because the autoplay skipped the win screens, so it shows as Not logged. Without the two bonuses, the spins themselves returned about $6.72 on $20, worked out from the session figures. The gamble wheel before each bonus was declined every time. Each bonus row is a Free Spins buy at 100x ($20). Session total −$20.70. Three buys and 100 spins is a short sample, not a long-term test.

How the session went
The game opens with a choice: The Kingdom of Ra or The Underworld of Osiris. The rules explain the difference. In Ra mode the chance of hitting free spins is higher but the average bonus win is lower, and Osiris flips that. I picked Ra, set the bet from the $2.00 default down to $0.20, and ran 100 spins in ten autoplay blocks of 10.
The $20 staked returned $32.30, finishing $12.30 up, and two natural bonuses did nearly all the work. The first, around spin 55, paid $22.78; the second, around spin 85, paid $2.80. In between it was steady small losses, with one stretch in the middle where a line hit I didn't catch covered a few spins.
I need to be straight about one gap. Autoplay skipped the win screens, so I never isolated the biggest single base win, and the stats box shows it as Not logged. Without the two bonuses, the 100 spins paid back about $6.72 on $20, worked out from the session figures. In Ra mode, the base game is mostly waiting for the bonus.
Before each bonus, the game shows a gamble wheel. The first bonus started at a 2x minimum multiplier, and the wheel offered a 60.34% chance to raise it to 4x, with a loss ending the bonus before it starts. I pressed Collect every time. That first round went well. A retrigger added six spins and raised the minimum multiplier from 2x to 4x, so it ran to about 13 spins. A Sensational banner showed $18.70 partway through, and the round ended on $22.78, 114x the bet. The second natural bonus was a plain 6 spins at 2x with no retrigger and paid $2.80.
Then I bought Free Spins three times at $20, 100x the bet. Buy 1 came in at a 4x minimum multiplier and paid $14.16 from 6 spins. Buys 2 and 3 started at 2x and paid $4.56 and $8.28, again 6 spins each with no retrigger. That's $27.00 back from $60, a 0.45x return, and every buy finished under its price. The best buy was also the only one that started at 4x, which fits how the multiplier drives this bonus.
Across the whole session I finished $20.70 down. The natural bonuses had me $12.30 up, and the buys took $33 back off. Small samples swing, but it's a fair picture of how this mode can go: frequent bonuses that mostly pay modestly, and a buy that needs a retrigger or a high starting multiplier to come out ahead.
How the features work
These points come from Pragmatic Play's game page, the in-game rules and what we saw in the session.
**Grid and lines.** 5 reels and 5 rows with 15 fixed paylines, paying left to right from the leftmost reel. The Wild substitutes for everything except the Scatter and appears on all reels.
**Expanding wilds.** In the base game, a wild that would be part of a win expands to fill its reel and carries a multiplier of up to 1,000x. If more than one lands on the same spin, their values add together.
**Free Spins.** 3, 4 or 5 scatters award 6 free spins with a minimum wild multiplier of 2x, 4x or 8x. Each expanding wild in the bonus becomes a walking wild that moves one reel left with a respin until it leaves the grid. Retriggers add 6 spins and raise the minimum multiplier, up to 1,000x.
**Gamble.** Before the bonus starts, you can gamble to raise the minimum multiplier, up to 100x. A loss ends the bonus. We always collected.
**Max win.** 25,000x the bet in both the base game and free spins. If a bonus reaches it, the round ends there.
The paytable at $0.20
Pays are shown at a $0.20 total bet across 15 lines. Five of the top symbol (Ra or Osiris, depending on mode) pay $4.00, 20x the bet, as do five Wilds. Four pay $2.00 and three pay $0.40. The next two pairs of symbols pay $2.00 for five and $1.00 for four, and the snakes and scarabs pay $1.00 for five. The royals, A to 10, pay $0.20 for five, $0.10 for four and $0.02 for three.
So without a wild multiplier, even a full line of the top symbol is only 20x, and most hits are cents. That's why the multipliers, not the paytable, decide what a round is worth.
Modes, buys and RTP
The rules give a 96.53% RTP in Kingdom of Ra mode and 96.54% in Underworld of Osiris. Pragmatic's page lists 96.53%, and versions at 95.53% and 94.52% also exist, so check the info screen at your casino.
The buys depend on the mode. In Ra, Free Spins cost 100x ($20 at $0.20) at 96.55% RTP, and Super Free Spins cost 250x ($50) at 96.51%, starting with a walking wild minimum multiplier of 8x. In Osiris, Free Spins cost 200x (96.54%) and Super Free Spins 500x (96.52%). The bet range in the rules runs from $0.10 to $500,000.
I only bought standard Free Spins in Ra mode. Super Free Spins cost 2.5 times as much but skip straight to an 8x minimum, which by our three buys is where this bonus starts to pay. I didn't test it, so that's a reading of the rules, not a result.
Compared with other Pragmatic Play slots
The volatility choice is the unusual part. Most Pragmatic slots give you one setting, and here you pick between two versions of the same game. The rest is familiar Pragmatic: a fixed-line 5×5 grid, a cheap and a premium bonus buy, and RTP versions that run lower at some casinos. The walking wild multiplier is the hook, and it's what made our first natural bonus worth $22.78. I didn't assess the sound.
